Tastes Like Rad was conceived in the back shed of a suburban Australian home in 2009.  The founder, Jake, is a child of the 80′s and confesses to wearing fluorescent tshirts, playing with yo-yos, listening to New Kids on the Block and even wearing a camouflage slap band religiously during his childhood.  These fashion faux pauxes, along with others such as The Snorks, bleached blonde mullets, The Smurfs, perms, Count Duckula, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, He-Man, doing the Locomotion with Kylie Minogue,  Bananaman, Thundercats, Hey Dad, David Boon smashing Victoria Bitter and Ninja Turtles are the influences for the Tastes Like Rad range of tshirts.

Tastes Like Rad is all about remembering the best (and worst) parts of living in the eighties.  Don’t fight it, embrace it!
